Get to Know Me
Hi, I am so glad you are here. My name is Brandi Dillon, I have over 15 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor in South Carolina and abroad in Asia, I am a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist. I am the founder & Owner of Partners in Counseling & Behavioral Health Services, LLC. The business name derived from interest not only to partner with providers and support the community but also to partner with each of you.
My background has been in several local mental health centers, outpatient settings, hospital inpatient and partial hospitalization programs as well as working in the primary care setting as a behavioral health manager in an integrated care model.
I graduated from Anderson University with a bachelors in Mental Health Counseling and attended Webster University to obtain my Masters of Arts in Psychology. I have experience as an adjunct professor of psychology and I enjoy teaching and giving back to a larger community that has taught me.
When we work together you may notice my training in Cognitive Behavioral therapy for Depression and Anxiety from the BECK institute, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy from Marsha Linehan and others, along with trainings in Motivational Interviewing, Behavioral Activation and Problem Solving Treatment.
Everyone comes to therapy for different reasons, whether they are in pain, need a therapeutic place to process, a regular space for self-care & acceptance or a more directive approach. Whatever it may be, being able to be a part of your journey has always been important to me.
When I am not with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors either camping, taking hikes, or being on our boat at the lake. We have a beautiful 4 yr old son who reminds us every day how we all change and grow together one day at a time.
