Get to Know Me
I graduated from Anderson University with a bachelors in Mental Health Counseling and attended Webster University to obtain my Masters of Arts in Psychology. I have experience as an adjunct professor of psychology and I enjoy teaching and giving back to a larger community that has taught me.
I invite you to come into my office and join me in creating the space for exploration of self and your future. We will work together to find out what you would like to work on and what hasn’t worked for you in the past.
I hope therapy can be a genuine experience and a collaborative conversation between us that feels comfortable and easy. When you come in for your appointment you can expect to sit on a couch, grab a pillow, a blanket or take your shoes off if you want and start a conversation with how I can help. We all make mistakes, we live our lives in a way that we know best for ourselves at the time. Do you want to be the best version of yourself, and live a life worth living?
Do you struggle to manage all of life’s stressors in a way that you feel you have everything under control? Or maybe you don’t know where to start but you want to talk to someone in a setting where you can figure things out.
I love what I do and the people I meet. Being a therapist is not just my job, it is what I know and what I love, helping others gain a greater understanding of themselves in order to live their best life. It’s important to me to meet people where they are in their lives and to do so in a non-judgmental, validating, caring environment. The goal is to assist clients in strengthening their own unique sense of self while helping them gain the knowledge and skill to construct such a life worth living That being said, I am direct at times but you can count on an honest and approach with each person that comes in.
Everyone comes to therapy for different reasons, whether they are in pain, need a therapeutic place to process, a regular space for self-care & acceptance or a more directive approach. Whatever it may be, being able to be a part of your journey has always been important to me.
No matter what has happened in the past or where you are now, the center of my practice is to align with you to get to a place where you want to be. Therapy goals will be discussed and reached together to live a life that isn't overwhelmed by feelings of anxiety, shame, or failure; a life that matters and has value. As a therapist who has experienced the challenges with mental health, I understand.

The mission for my practice is to partner with clients and mental health professionals to help support accessing mental health care and helping clients and the community understand the connection between healing trauma, and achieving optimal emotional, mental, physical and spiritual health.

I offer both in office face to face & telehealth video counseling options based on your level of comfort and need. You will be asked to complete an online intake process, and have access to a client portal for secure scheduling and communication and payment. My practice is LGBTQ+ allied and welcoming to all religious and spiritual faiths and backgrounds. Everyone matters and YOU are valued and respected here.
When I am not with clients, I enjoy spending time with my family outdoors either camping, taking hikes, or being on our boat at the lake. We have two boys that remind us every day how we all change and grow together one day at a time.
